Feels like our defense is the question mark right now, an oddity for PSU. Though 2025 was not a good year for our defense IMO.

All of this complaining and hoping is just way too early. Our team self destructed last year due to infighting, no unity, and Franklin lost the locker room. We look at all these portal guys and think aw shucks, not as good as what is leaving. If these new players listen to the Train Steward and become "All Aboard"! I'll take them over a better athlete that does nothing but belly ache and cause disharmony.

According to 247Sports transfer portal Amare Cambell ranks 196th and I was hoping we could hang on to this dude but we have 7 or 8 players from Iowa St that ranks higher than he does and much higher. Keep things in perspective my friends because we are taking names and kicking ass in this transfer Portal adding all the top transfer portal dudes to the studs we already have. I hate losing Chaz Coleman but he didn’t want to play football at the end of the season when he was given a scholarship and money to play so how much of a loss is that. DDS and Amare Cambell played. If a plays heart ain’t at Penn St then he needs to go. What we are seeing since MC was hired ain’t been nothing but good imo we are killing it right now.

Good Point on the Bacon gain vs the Campbell loss but portal ranking has limited value. We need a 3rd LB and Campbell may be one of the top 5 in the portal. We don't want to be like last year where we are rich at some spots and weak at important ones. Feels like we will be solid on the O Side. Some gaps to fill on D. We have lots of scholarships, the limiting factors seem to be $ and quality players....as always. Surely D'Anton and Dan can get us another serviceable LB. And maybe one of those hybrid (Safety, LB, End) studs. I think we can feel pretty good at this point.
