Just read on ESPN that’s the SEC and ESPN get a 10 year deal done and espn has exclusive rights to SEC football. My man the funeral director is right about the favoritism the SEC gets but I guess Ohio St gets the same favoritism in the big 10 heck probably more.
FD has been preaching about that for years.

Do you have a link to the story about this deal?
They made a deal to air the games of SEC football and basketball? I'm scratching my head.

It's business as usual. Networks like to display and showcase Champions.
@forum-titan. The article says it holds the exclusive rights holder of SEC football and basketball whatever that means. I’m taking it as they’re in bed with the SEC and will do whatever possible to make a lot of money?

It's just basic contract deals with Lawyers.
The phrase "exclusive right" means that only the copyright holder is free to exercise those rights, and others are prohibited from using the work without the holder's permission.
Has nothing to do with being in bed with the SEC or favoritism. Is that a goal of most corporations? Make money?
@forum-titan. We’ll maybe it’s not a big deal then. Looks to me if espn is paying money to the SEC they’ll look after their own interest. This stuff is way over my head.

I understand what you are saying. ESPN signs contracts with College football, they sign contracts with NHRA drag racing, they sign contracts with tennis. It's a business. The union companies I worked for sign contracts every year.

They look after their own and use their influence AFTER they sign the deal, they've been doing that forever. Just ignore him Southern, he's in a foul mood because we kicked his teams ass again.

Not true. Jealous because your team isn't part of the puzzle yet. Win the championship and get noticed.
