Meh, plenty of other schools sold the right to stadiums and fields long ago. I don't really care, advertising is the way of the world. Has been forever...

@psugrad81  don’t try and make all the JoePa fans happy because it might offend the 9 Iowa fans at the Penn St stadium because they believe JoePa was involved in a coverup.

I don't particularly want the field to be named after Joe. That would be fine with me but name it after someone that had something to do with the school. Or even the state. Just don't sell out for money.

"Hershey Field at Beaver Stadium" would be a happy medium. Still a company paying for ad space, but a Pennsylvania icon

That said... the hershey highway jokes might flow
