My analysis ... younger players playing young making mistakes. Elder players also playing poorly - we need a leader on Defense.
If PS is LUCKY enough to pull this out, I know it's one in the win column but it sure feels like a loss!
Hopefully we get the win ... lots of tremendous game film to study all week, a plethora of what not to do.

boys they have a lot of work to do...I think we need to temper our expectations regarding this ballclub...They were not prepared for this ballgame...Hopefully this is a wakeup call for the program...

Thoughts from the game:
1. Our pass rush needs to get better. No real pressure all day.
2. Secondary had decent coverage but were outplayed for balls. Need to tighten that up.
3. Linebackers had a lot of lineup mistake. They need to get better quickly.
4. KJ Hamler is the real deal.
5. Offense looked sluggish but played much better in the 2nd half and OT. Just seems like rust and getting used to the new season.
6. You are never out of the game when McSorley is your QB. The kid has absolute ice water in his veins. He just doesn't get affected by the big moment, he relishes it.
Anyways... Offense seems fine, if anything the OL could get better. Defense needs a lot of work, we have athletes but they need seasoning. Biggest thing that scares me after this game is the lack of pass rush.
Well with this impressive win, we should move from #9 to.....#14 in the Coaches Poll.
I believe Franklin had the team prepared but they failed to execute both on offense (OL) and defense. Too many players caught out of position. I agree with the expectations need to be tempered.
Regardless of the win, any team with a formidable defense line aka OSU, is not gonna let a 4th quarter lead slip away. There has been consistency withe this team, willful wins, suck ass offensive line and 2nd tier defense that manages to pull it off; at some point the luck runs out. There is not an offensive or defensive lineman on this team that shows up consistently to flat out kick ass and set the tone. You need that to play and win the big ones.
Poor tackling...Offensive line isn't as good as I thought they would be...Need to find playmakers on the outside...run defense needs to stiffen up...Defense is young but very athletic...they will get better with every game...The improvement next week is going to tell the story about this football team...
