OMG I love the Olympics it’s fun watching the USA best other countries. It’s probably my 2nd favorite sports behind college football. I love the winter and summer Olympics
I watched some of the rowing competition this morning and now I finally know how to pronounce "Repechage", pronounced "reppa chaz". Now you know and you can thank me later.
Crew is awesome; aint no athlete in any other sport that has anything on a rower; the closest I can think of in terms of endurance, strength, intelligence, just flat out will power and technique is in wrestling.
If you have never been to a regatta, take the opportunity, its a lot of fun and excitement, especially the last 500M of a full on race.
Half the Olympics are US athletes, it's just that some of them are dual citizens and representing other countries. Track and field is basically an NCAA track meet 4 years after they graduated LOL

If they beat the Czech Republic and Iran in their next 2 games they advance to the knockout round. So losing once in the group stage doesn't really matter except for seeding.
If they lose one of the next 2 games, then they're in trouble.

My daughter-in-law was on the crew team at Marist. Now she's a personal trainer down West Palm way. Guess she likes the pain or likes to dish it out. She's a little bitty Chihuahua of a thing, some of her clients really lover her snapping at their heels. lol I was never into S&M.

We got the lead in the medal count at 30 but in gold we’re 2 behind Japan and 1 behind China but I’m pretty confident we’ll get more gold when this thing is done. Let’s go team USA baby
One of our swimmers got the gold last night way to go baby. I’ll be glad when wrestling starts i love Olympics wrestling. We have some studs in there hopefully we can get a couple of golds.

I was annoyed when they allowed Russian athletes to participate under the "Russian Olympic Committee". Basically, a slap on the wrist because there's zero consequence. Russia doesn't care that we think it's not official, but their athletes would if they were all banned as they should be. Otherwise, Russia will not change.
i'm more annoyed with the Chinese, they are tearing it up. I wonder if they are cheating.
