The only reason Cincy didn't beat Ohio state this year is they did not play. Whatever happened 5 years ago doesn't matter.
I'm sure people were telling Howard Schnellenberger not to go coach Miami because they weren't a "Big Dawg", and look how that turned out. Before the 80s Miami was crap, and then they won multiple national titles.

They literally have 3 guys on everyone's top 50 list for the first 2 rounds, and 8-10 players listed as going to be drafted. So no, they don't just have "2 or 3 guys who MIGHT make it", they have 8-10 guys who will be drafted and a few that will be 1st or 2nd rounders.
And again, "history" is just nonsense. Michigan won a bunch of NCs back in the 10s & 20s. SO WHAT. Miami SUCKED in the 70s and earlier. They won 5 titles in 20 years after that.

Getting beat by #1 doesn't mean you aren't top 4. How do you even use that logic when Ohio State got embarrassed by Michigan in their previous game? But right... their chest says "Ohio State" so they must be a top 4 team... even though their defense couldn't stop a snail from scoring.
Was Georgia "not a top 4 team" because they lost to Alabama? So why is Cincy different? This is what I mean, you apply whatever logic you want to Cincy but just shake your head when that same logic is applied to anyone else:

And stop trying to tell me that you were right. You weren't, you said Michigan was a good team and could beat Georgia. You said Cincy was not a good team and would be embarrassed... Now you are trying to convince yourself that Michigan just had a bad day against an angry team while Cincy losing 27-6 was some ridiculous blowout that proved Cincy wasn't good.

I didn't say you said they would beat Georgia, I said you stated Michigan was a good team and COULD POSSIBLY beat them. Yes, I know you picked Georgia to win.
This is the same thing I said about Cincy... That I felt Cincy COULD POSSIBLY beat Alabama, but that I though ultimately Alabama would win.
My point is we both said the same exact thing about those games, yet you give yourself credit for "calling it" after Michigan got hammered but give me ZERO credit when Cincy loses. The Cincy game was actually close point wise at 17-6 heading into the 4th, while Michigan practically lost the game after the coin toss.
Somehow after seeing Michigan lose you've not once stated "they aren't a top 4 team" or that Michigan "didn't deserve to be there", yet you've jumped all over Cincy for it.

I believe they are a good football team and I also believe they’re a top 15 team just not top 4 and roam I don’t think for one second you thought Cincinnati was going to beat Alabama, I know better. Michigan got their clock cleaned and the big 10 champ needs to do better in bowl games. 2 times last 5 years Ohio St has got the shaft IMO gettin into the playoffs and I believe it’s because the big 10 has lost respect. We definitely need an eight team playoff system. I’ll take 16 but the bowls are fun regardless who sits out and all teams are playing by the same rules. Next man up if somebody doesn’t want to play.

And it's laughable to say Ohio State ever got the shaft in regards to making the playoff. They were absolutely pummeled by unranked teams in 2017 & 2018 and they certainly didnt deserve it this year
