Speaking of choking , how bout those professional sports teams from Atlanta ? Braves choke again to add to their mile long list of chokes and then there’s the Falcons with their record choke job in the Super Bowl, a game in which they planned their victory parade at halftime.
Quite pathetic.
I agree, the Braves just didn’t get it done. They always struggle with the Phillies. If you’ll remember I did hammer the Falcons for the biggest choke job ever in the NFL. I also called for coach Quinn to be fired because when you have a devastating loss like that odds are you ain’t going to rebound from it and I was right because thing in Atlanta went down hill from there. Nobody was held accountable and it didn’t end good. I bet Roam remembers because him and pepto was saying I was overreacting. I’m not any smarter than the average sports fans I just watched how Dale Earnhardt and Richard Childress ran their NASCAR team and somebody was always held accountable if Dale wasn’t winning so that’s where I get it from lol y’all know I’m a Pete Carroll fan and I thought he should’ve been fired after the SB fudge up. In professional sports somebody has to be held accountable if things ain’t going right for the big dawgs. Just saying. There’s always exceptions
@roaminglion I really haven’t followed baseball since the mid 90’s but I know back then they choked away numerous opportunities when they were allegedly the best team in baseball and yesterday a buddy of mine told me they have been the same way for the last 20 years. It’s choke after choke after choke.
They have won four World Series titles (1914, 1957, 1995, and 2021) and 18 National League (NL) pennants.
As Judge Ito said to the British witness in the OJ trial....."You said you find American football boring...... wait 'til you see baseball!"
I stand corrected as I did confuse Saban's LSU team with Les Miles...What a team he walked into and really he underperformed every season after that...Is he still even coaching anymore?

In 2011 they did get to the title game too, but lost the rematch with Alabama.
I believe he went to Kansas but had some scandal, not sure what but he either stepped down or got fired
