Why would Veilleux transfer out when he's currently the heir apparent? If anything I see Cliff getting beaten out in the spring and entering the portal himself. IMO the only reason Sean's been the starter for the last couple years is because there's been no one behind him on the depth chart to challenge him.

Utah put up 35 points on Ohio St in the first half. Watching the Rose Bowl and if you watch these QB’s you can easily see we have much more problems than just the OL. We have a lot of problems and with a 10 year contract just signed I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel unless we get a stud QB. Pitt. Goes toe to toe with Michigan St with a third string QB so that tells you how bad it is. We can’t score..period. Man, we can’t beat Arkansas with a QB that struggled to throw. Arkansas is average at best with 2 and 3* players.

Just feeling cynical. And the answer to why is, who is the HC? Yeah, CV probably stays but given the right opportunity why? Really boild down to what his dreams and goals are and where he thinks he can make that happen. I've been saying for some time, today's game is very different and the players are very different than 5-10-20+ years ago.
IMO as an arm chair HC, I'd used today's game as a fun game, no pressure, lets see what we got, lets be completive and get the younger guys some experience. The fact is the season was blown with the starters in the first place so WTF, go out and enjoy the experience. CV is not going to unseat Cliff, not b/c of skill etc but b/c JF isnt making the change and JF isnt going to turn it over to MY. Cliff should have been benched third quarter...

Yea and all those teams you mentioned have decent to good O lines. Tom Brady couldn’t perform like Tom Brady behind our line. You can’t run with a bad o-line. You can’t have a good passing game if the o-line doesn’t protect and give the QB time. COME ON MAN!
@southern-psu-fan don’t disagree on that. But on the offensive side the oline is the majority of the problem.
Watching Ohio State today, I realized how poorly PSU is coached.
