I saw nothing about the FBI saying it wasn't an insurrection not to say they didn't say that...I do know that they are still investigating who was involved and what there roles are...Again...I don't know how you can look at all of the events of that day and come to any other conclusion that the sitting president and his allies in congress weren't there with the expressed intent to cause those folks to storm the capitol and overturn that election...He said in his speech that he was going to walk down there with them...Listen to the tape...Look at the film footage...That wasn't a riot...They were there to hang Pence...kill Pelosi and anybody else that wasn't going to be complicit in decertifying the election results...That is the very definition of an insurrection or coup attempt...We are a long way from knowing all of the facts of this but it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out who was involved and what their motives were...If the former president and his allies were squeaky clean then why all the legal proceedings to keep from testifying? This isn't the behavior of honest and innocent people...
The people you watch or listen to don’t want you to know the FBI said there was one insurrection because if they did you would know. Now had the FBI had said it was an insurrection you can bet your azz you would’ve heard about it. Stop listening to that fake news FD turn your radio on NPR and read Fox News and you’ll get the truth you might have to connect the dots sometimes but these are the most accurate news stations.

I remember reading that the crew at Fox news and the other right wing outlets floated that the FBI was somehow involved and was behind the January 6th insurrection but nowhere have I read outside of the right wing outlets that the FBI cleared any government officials regarding the events of January 6th at our Capitol...

This is the same network that denied COVID existed and constantly said it was a political ploy to get Trump, yet they separated themselves on air while regurgitating this mantra to their listeners day after day. Then they beat a constant drum against the vaccine while they all secretly got vaccinated without revealing that to their viewers. They’ve also been caught photoshopping gunmen into pictures of the rioting in Seattle and recently had to settle a court case for $1 million dollars for sexual harrassment against female anchors. Fox has a right wing agenda that they repeat day after day until it’s beat into their listeners heads. Currently, it’s Afghanistan and rightly so. Just prior to that it was immigration day after day after day. The anchors simply repeat the propaganda on a daily basis. Oh, and anything on any of those channels after 6-7 o’clock every night is opinion, not news.

What would your story be if Trump had won and that was Biden supporters attacking the U.S. Capitol and the police protecting it? 100 officers hurt. 5 people dead. 99, my wife won’t let me watch the news I read on my phone Fox and apple news and I listen to npr news on the radio and I listen to Eric Von Haessler a lot. I know Fox leans right and NPR leans a little left but they do give you the news that’s going on but you have to listen to both sides then you can connect the dots. Hey, me and my wife just got done watching all 15 seasons of criminal mind and the tv show Dallas before that and we’re rewatching the SOA now we ain’t got time to watch the news and man my man Dexter is coming back on, my favorite serial killer lol
@southern-psu-fan I hear you Southern. I listen to several outlets, including Fox, and take in several perspectives. Listening to just one side leads to never being open minded. I listen to Fox every morning when I get up for work. Some mornings, I think they have good points and I can relate. Other mornings it is just laughable how hard they are pushing the right propaganda. Regardless, enjoy the shows with your wife. I’m looking forward to the new season of Yellowstone coming out. I’m also wondering when season 3 of Jack Ryan will be out on Amazon Prime TV? The first 2 seasons were very good, but it has been a long time since the last one aired.

Now to the flat tax...The flat tax is another scheme by the wealthy to avoid paying taxes...I believe the prevailing belief among many is that 1955 was a pretty good year and that America was rolling along and our economy was doing arguably the best it ever was...I want all of you to go and check out what the tax brackets were back in 1955 and what the tax rates were for the top 1%...I am not going to give the percentage to you as I want you all to look it up yourselves...If those tax rates didn't stifle the economy back in 1955 something tells me the Jeff Bezos's of this country to afford to ante up...

There's an easy way to fix that. Use the same tax structure we have today, but make all exemptions void for the highest tax bracket. So everyone gets to take their exemptions and tax credits, unless you hit the top bracket.... then everything above that has to be paid at that rate, no exceptions.

@roaminglion so discriminate against someone who is successful. How about a flat sales tax I read an article says between 21 and 25% would cover all todays taxes. That way everyone pays the same percentage. The top money makers will still pay more because they will buy more expensive items.
