@rip y’all lost to me unless it’s nobody or sarcasm lol
@southern-psu-fan lol Your age is showing, youngster. Rocky (Rocket J. Squirrel) and Bullwinkle (Bullwinkle J. Moose) were cartoon characters of years past. Boris (Badenov) and Natasha (Fatale) were Russian spies trying to off Rocky & Bullwinkle. Kind of the cartoon version of "Get Smart". lol Another one you might not have heard of. Not letting me post the website, google it and you can watch a few episodes at home when your bored. Or better yet, get the grandkids to watch w/ you!
Just talking nonsense, Southern. BT explained it pretty good in his post above. The whole thread started when BT said he forgot the Russian he learned back in his jarhead days. For some silly reason, that reminded me of the 2 Russian spies, Boris & Natasha, who were regular characters on the Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoon show on TV in the early 1960's. Roam picked up on it and posted Raskolnikov which was Boris' favorite saying when he was po'd at Moose (who was Bullwinkle) & Squirrel (who was Rocky). Sorry to confuse you buddy. That really was a funny cartoon show.
@been-there-ii Sorry BT, no punchline. I always buy oil. Weiss markets usually carries it.
@jimmypsuelectriciangrad I hear you complaining about people calling you names and you respond by calling them them names. I lived in Hershey a good portion of my life, does that make make a Hershey Elite? By the way, I don't disagree with Joe about your political rants, I was just pointing out that he did the same. I also have been guilty of that as well as a lot of others on this site have also. I think we can all do better and keep the politics off this site.
- @psugrad81 When you’re in Hersheys Pa does it smell like chocolate 81? How big is the chocolate factory and do they still make the yuengling Hershey chocolate beer because I couldn’t find it this year and this past year at Christmas was the first time in years I didn’t enjoy it, man I love that beer. I’d buy around 3 12 packs and it would last me a few months lol thanks?
@southern-psu-fan The smell depended on the weather. Some days you could smell it all over town. You could always smell peanut butter cups when you drove past the Reese's factory just west of Hershey. The factory was a few blocks long as you drove down Chocolate Ave. I'm not sure how deep is was. I don't think they make chocolate there any more. There is a new plant behind Palmyra, a small town east of Hershey and they have other plants in other places. It was a great town to grow up in.

Yuengling brewery is in the same county I was born and raised in. About 35 minutes away from my home town. However, I moved onto greener pasteurs.
The brewery is nice to visit as I understand but the town is a total shithole. The whole town and surrounding communities are filled with distribution centers that pay below normal living wages keeping the area depressed. Everytime i pass through I cringe. Abandoned buildings , streets don't get cleaned from the winter aggregates. Property isn't taken care of. If you ever plan on moving to the area you probably won't have a hard time finding a job for 17 dollars an hour working 12 hour swing shifts including weekends and holidays. If you pass through you'll notice many acres being processed for more distribution centers. Big business, big money with no real improvement for the area. When their tax free industrial contract runs out they move out leaving 100s of workers unemployed and then the next shithole distribution center moves in and does the same thing.
I've never had or heard about the chocolate Yuengling. Maybe it's a limited time it's available.
I once drank the yuengling premium however over time I acquired more liking for Canadian beers.
The main plant on Chocolate Ave was torn down years ago and when it was open the smell of chocolate would drift through town and Hersheypark but as 81 said it was weather dependent and would always be stronger when it was going to rain. They built a plant just outside of town on West Chocolate Ave and Reese’s is out that way too but the sweet smells rarely make it into town or the park.
Tourists used to ask where they could buy that chocolate in a can spray because they thought the smell was artificially being pumped in.
@psujoe I guess it's OK for you to post gas prices on the water cooler forum and to thank the occupant of white house for them. But I guess that's not political.
Joe is among the "Hershey Elite".
He's Special
Yup and you’re just a low life Aristes dipshit.
Lol.... Yes, I'm very jealous that you get to live the high life overlooking merry go rounds and 🎢 Rollercoasters. Suits you very well...couldn't be of any better replica than yourself
BYE 👋 👋 👋
@jimmypsuelectriciangrad Inside the brewery was a shithole too. Was there for a Master Brewers Association meeting many years ago, the sanitation was appalling. You'd think if you were hosting an event such as that, you'd have made an effort to clean the place up a little....or maybe they did? I'm pretty sure most breweries are that way now, but I've seen that mess 1st hand and it made an impression. I steer clear of Yuengling.
