is upset with the CFP committee because Ohio st got the shaft and that the big 10 champ has been left out of the playoffs the last 3 years. The article is on espn it’s a pretty good read if you want to read it. I actually agree with him.
ESPN also has the all positions team. We’re #3 on the DE and #5 LB’R. They forgot about Bowman that’s why I think we ain’t #1 or #2. It’s since the bcs era. I thought we should’ve been in the top 10 at RB since we’ve had LJ and Barkley but we got left out on that one.
The only team from the Big Ten that got snubbed in the past three years is PSU in 2016. There you could make a case that we won the conference, and choosing a team from the same conference over us was BS.
In 2017 & 2018 Ohio State took themselves out of the CFP by losing horribly to Iowa & Purdue. Neither were ranked and both obliterated the Buckeyes by more than 4 TDs. No one selected ahead of OSU in either year was pummeled nearly as bad.
The committee never said winning a conference was an automatic berth. IMO I would not say the Big Ten was snubbed in 2017 or 2018, I'd say our champion dropped the ball big time. They only have themselves to blame.
Did you check out the all positions team Roam? Can you believe they didn’t remember bowman considering he was better than all the other LB’S. Well maybe I’m a little biased but he was dang sure as good as all The others lol. I didn’t see one LB’R on the list from any team that was any better. We’ve also had a few all American RB’S

Yeah, it was a bit surprising they left off Sean Lee and Navarro Bowman in their "notable players" list for LBs.
As for RBs... outside of 2002 with LJ, we haven't really have anyone special from 1998-2014. I think the list was a snapshot of 1998 until now.
Barkley was amazing but probably not enough to raise us up into the top 10 by himself. If Sanders produces in the NFL this year we'd most likely get a big boost.
