heard some interesting stuff going down with OSU... could be getting a bit stickier there.  Might affect recruiting. Also, full court press on Fleming at 7on camp.  I’d put odds at Fleming flipping at 65/35.  The recruitment of him kicked into overdrive.

Ok Bill. I’ll bite. What do you mean by “stickier”?

And to your point, Bill, there are pictures on other sites of Fleming playing with Franklin looking on. Also, pictures of Fleming sitting in a golf cart with Micah Parsons. This certainly doesn’t seem to be over.

I said this as soon as he gave his verbal... This pretty much goes for every 5* recruit and the higher 4's, their recruitment is never really over.

James Franklin has come through on recruiting every year and this year ain’t going to be any different. He loses a few but wins a lot that happens to all good coaches in recruiting. Thanks for all the news guys I don’t get much recruiting news on penn st down here in Atlanta.

C’mon Murray. What do you have? You don’t come on a message board and drop a nugget of info like that and then leave us hanging?

This whole thing spanned about 20 years according to accusations. Which means a lot of people knew. Tressel? John Cooper? Jim Jordan? Etc. etc.

It is unreal how big this is and how little coverage it is getting. New lawsuits filed by former trainers, wrestlers, even a UFC Hall of Famer is in one of the suits.

If nothing else, I think this clearly demonstrates how vunerable men can be to sexual assault. Believe what you want, but I seriously doubt if it was as easy as just punching the doctor in the face... someone would have done it.

I mean... former wrestlers, football players, and freaking UFC HOFer?

You saw web  pictures of Flemming sitting in a golf cart with Micah Parsons?  That's the icing on the cake right there.  Micah was probably whispering in his ear.  Yep, it's not over,  they were in a golf cart together.  This isn't over yet!

Do you have a web link? Maybe these are false stories? You know,  the media. Perhaps,  a group of individuals rallied up to get money from the university,  grab bag .

Woody knew.

Tressel watched and took pictures.

Urban turned a blind eye to a wife beater.

Zac Smith had sex toys delivered to the OSU offices and drank all of his take home pay.

Yes, 177 athletes all conspired against Ohio State University. I'm sure the UFC Hall of famer was happy to sign his name to this as a way to get a money grab.

You know, I'm sure that guy needs the money.

Im certain that OSU will step forward and do the right thing in reagards to the 177 victims that had to endure this all these years.  After all, this is the same university that hired Urban Meyer to teach an ethics course.  What could possibly go wrong??

I just found this site after being on PennLive forever ago, good stuff.  I just finished reading a few threads and this one stood out to me.  As much as I would love OSU to get hammered from all of this, I just don't see it happening.  The NCAA learned from the PSU case that you shouldn't punish a football program for issues like this, especially when it happened a decade or more before anyone currently associated with the program was involved.  Michigan State got nothing.  I have a feeling what Mr. Murray might be referring to is talk around the recruiting circles trying to put doubt into the minds of 17 and 18 year old kids that either already committed to OSU or are thinking about it.  I just caution JF about this practice because it can backfire easily and kids see through most of that negative recruiting.  In the long-run it hurts your program more than it helps.

there were talks of recruiting violations, some OSU coaches not exactly happy, and yes, talks of sanctions.  Franklin had a long conversation off to the side near the end of the tourney with Julian and mom......was the last of several private conversations going on

Thanks for joining the board PSUinHBG.  I think you will find this to be one of the best places to chat PSU sports on the internet.  We have a great group of fans here that are as passionate as you will find. Welcome!

I'm not debating what you overheard, I just haven't seen or heard of any of that talk anywhere else.  I must admit, I read the enemy boards all the time because I'm a college football junkie and love recruiting.  I have seen nothing outside of the widely publicized issues at OSU regarding coaching or violations.  I would venture to say most coaches that get an ear will attempt to throw a bit of doubt out there about a rival that is trying to sign a top talent.

The  doctor killed his self so we can assume he did something wrong I just don’t think it was 177 young men. I still need more info because right now I’m not buying it.

I wasn't "overhearing"  it was a discussion with people I respect...and have some insight.....
