I kinda feel sorry for Allar. Franklin put him in a terrible situation and basically destroyed his college career

no doubt about it Homer...They didn't prepare this kid nor did they put him in a position to succeed...He has all the talent in the world...It is going to be interesting to see how he develops at the next level...I am rooting for the kid...

How is none of this Kotelnickis fault? I am crazy? The only reason the offense even looked remotely good last year was because they essentially had an NFL all pro TE playing in college. All the gimmicks and gadgets never really worked and even less so without Tyler Warren. When does Kotelnicki bear some responsibility for not playing to Kaytrons and Drew’s strengths, no we got some bullshit big 12 gimmick Kansas RPO offense that’s never really worked in theory. Knowles doesn’t look like he could carry Tom Allen or Manny Diaz water at this point either, hopefully whoever is coming brings their luggage.

@kularrow exactly the way I see it. Yurcich was better when Allar and the 2 RB’s were freshman

I'm totally amazed by Knowles' lack of adjustments and poor results.  I was led to expect big things!  Wrong again Kemosabe!!

@rip  I didn’t think we’d see a difference meaning he would be good but he’s been a letdown comparing him to Manny or Tom Allen

Oh Kularrow I blame the whole coaching staff...The problem is we are in the middle of the season now so you can't fire all of them...Franklin got his walking papers and the rest of these guys will get theirs when the season ends...Cignetti or whoever the next coach is will bring their people in and this program will get the cleansing and the fresh start it needs to take the next step to becoming an elite program that wins championships...

@kularrow I won’t be surprised if coach K gets fired tomorrow or after the Iowa game. He should have been fired with Franklin.Hopefully the whole coaching staff has been put on notice.

If the O is a no go against Iowa, K is gone.

Pat Kraft is cleaning house to make it easy for the incoming HC to bring in his own staff. I wouldn't be surprised if a deal is not already agreed to.

Coaches need to realize Pat ain't worried about making anyone cry.

I am all but certain the powers at be have a candidate already selected and a plan to secure his services...I would think the short list is probably 3 potential candidates but they already have one that they are zeroing in on...Don't kid yourself...This is Penn State and this is a top program that will the pick of who they want...

Ah, so like James had a book of potential future coaches so do the powers that be?  Or they started a draft after Oregon and completed it after UCLA.

I sure hope Kraft hasn’t zeroed in on his buddy Matt Ruhle.

I ain't gonna lie Homer...I am afraid that is who he is going to hire...I am coping by typing Cignetti, Cignetti & Cignetti...From the outside he just looks to be the best candidate for the job...The question is can they get him...I would personally prefer a guy like John Gruden or the guy from Georgia Tech over Matt Rhule...It's like you got a sizzling Tomahawk Steak cooked just the way you like it setting in front of you and they yank that son of a bitch out from under you and give you McDonalds hamburger instead...Rhule just don't excite me...I could be wrong but he just don't do it for me...
