You know the deal, the backup QB is always better when you aren't getting it done. Until he isn't. And then you have mediocre QB's that are gods because they have a great O-Line and skill players.

The first three games showed the status of the team and coaches to a T.
- Play calling
- Undersized D'Line
- Uncoordinated D'
- Wrong QB and wrong type of QB for O scheme
- Wrong starting RB
- Overall poor transfer portal player integration
- JF skill set in pressure situation; could not handle the hype but also didn't have the right horses for the courses; and can't seem to change the jockey no matter what; and is clearly the common denominator at this stage.
IMO, JF is a very good start up HC, but then needs to leave when the rubber really starts hitting the pavement. I said years ago, Ron Zook like.
Football is no different than any other business organization and the type of leadership needed at different stages of Org Dev crosses over.
JF, imo, would be great at getting programs e.g. any of the lower performing FL schools, VA TECH, UVa, west coast schools up and running, and then moving on.
I disagree with your assessment of the defense for the first 3 games or even up intil they played UCLA...Losing Rojas was a devastating blow as it is clear that #0 is a step late and can't get to the gap and beat the seal block...
I agree with the wrong type of QB for the scheme but as a coach you change YOUR scheme to FIT your QB and personnel...
I don't agree with the RB assessment...They are 2 different RB's...Allen is your 1st and 2nd down back along with your short yardage back...Singleton is your big play back who you want to get out into space...They are both tremendous backs with different skill sets...They have yet to put Singleton in the position he needs to succeed...

I believe Franklin is gone at the end of the season (possibly before but I doubt it)...The real question is who are they bringing in...This hire is the most important hire in 75 years...If they pick the wrong guy this is gonna set the program back 10 years...

No but Oregon is Southern and that is the point...I used to argue with Roam about this myself but he is right...The last 3 games have shown me the light...It's the coaches...I don't give a flying rip who the hell you put in there it is gonna be the same result...These guys ain't prepared...It's not the players...I am excited to see who they bring in to lead them to the next level...

I am here to tell you that I would give anything for you to be right and me to be wrong about this...Unfortunately I have no doubt in my mind that nothing is going to be different because Allar wasn't the problem...He was the victim of a coaching staff who didn't prepare him properly or put him in a position to succeed...The problems with this team isn't a personnel or talent issue but a coaching issue...I am certain that issue will no longer be an issue after this season is over...You could bring Brady out of retirement and he wouldn't be no different because the OC is a joke and the head coach can't get it done...I have seen enough...

We weren’t losing games back then because f the QB we were losing because other teams were just better at the time. The last 3 or 4 years are the best teams James Franklin has had. They fudge up recruiting a QB that doesn’t fit what we want to do on offense and that’s James Franklin fault.
McSorley was an intangibles guy like McGloin was...I wouldn't say either of them has had an NFL "career"...They both played in the league as backups and barely saw any playing time...Lets see how the season plays out Southern...One of us is going to be right...I personally don't think it matters who the QB is...It's the coaching...They don't prepare these guys properly and put them in positions to succeed...There is a reason why Franklin is going to be shown the door after this season...

Who gives a chit who is right. If the QB sucks it's coaching, and if the QB is awesome it's still the effing coaches fault for not playing him. @psujoe he sucks in our offense. He needs a prostyle offense something that fits his play. He was Hack in our offense. I’ve said many times he needs a coach like Lincoln Riley or Kirby Smart
