a good article on the players who flipped to other teams over the past 5 yrs. I remember Thomas Holey the best. He was a high 4* DT who flipped to Florida shortly after Franklin was hired. I thought the sky was falling at the time. Amother would be Adam Mclain who went on to MD. It turns out only Lavert Hill is having any success with the teams they went to.

If you just look at the success James Franklin had at Vanderbilt that tells you how good of a coach he really is, you have to do everything right just to go 6-6 at Vanderbilt and to win 9 games and bowls games is unbelievable, the man was beating Georgia. Florida and Tennessee in the same year, try to find when they ever did that and BTW when James Franklin was winning 9 games at Vanderbilt the SEC was probably the toughest it had ever been.

He deserves credit for Vandy. I think when we were coach searching after BoB left, CJF was on the hot list for several schools, including Texas.

Good information and quite telling about Franklin’s program. I wondered about Pryts, a “can’r miss” D10 kid from Hickory HS. I was very disappointed he decommitted to Stanford especially with his Penn State ties.
