i was hoping the spring game would be on TV. It won’t be long before we won’t have college football the players will want to get ready for the NFL after their Jr year of high school. Lol….man that wrestling NC tournament sure was fun to watch 😁

@been-there-ii that would be fun brother. I wish we played a real spring game against a team like Syracuse or WV. Let the backups play. In high school we use to play another team in our region for a spring game. We had 24 teams in our region and only the top 2 teams made the playoffs. It’s different today I believe they only have 6 or 7 teams in region.

We used to do a couple preseason scrimmages w/ teams out of our "Section". We didn't have spring ball in H.S.
Sorry to hear about your buddy, Southern. I don't need to tell you - he's in a much better place! We didn't have spring ball when I was in HS. Any of us football players were expected to do track & field in the spring. Our FB coach didn't like us playing baseball. Probably because he was the track coach too, lol!
You're right, BT. Saw an article that reported Colorado has confirmed that it is working with the NCAA and Big 12 to make the exhibition game with Syracuse happen. Also, saw something about us maybe having a joint practice with Temple???????

i keep hearing on different podcasts that James Franklin has to win the NC this year or else. I don’t agree with that at all imo we need to beat Oregon or Ohio State and everything is good and it would be great to get a playoff win. If we lose both games against Oregon and Ohio State and lose in the first game in the playoffs then he could be in trouble. IMO James Franklin is in the same seat Coach Day was in last year. Winning the NC didn’t save coach Days job beating Oregon did.
@southern-psu-fan If the podcasts had any influence on Franklin keeping his job, he'd have been gone years ago. According to one source or another, he's always in the hot seat.

@been-there-ii I’m just asking for one big win brother and I’ve been waiting way to long to get it 😂. We’ve been way too good the last 3 years not to get 1 win against the heavyweights. I always feel good after every win but wins against teams that are good as we are puts a big smile on my face.

The schedule is pretty much set up for us again, both big games (Oregon & Ohio State) are after bye weeks with is nice.
@roaminglion I do look at the teams, teams like Ohio State, Michigan, Ole Miss, ND and Oregon and it’s been a while since I’ve seen a win. I know you believe SMU and Boise State have the studs we have but I don’t. Apples to Apples baby! I’ll give you the Rose Bowl win because Utah was the PAC champs.
