A Penn State recruiting target has committed to a different College Football Playoff-caliber program — thanks in part to a former Nittany Lion coach.
Kaden Gebhardt, a 2026 four-star safety from Olentangy (Ohio), committed to Clemson over Penn State, Ohio State and others on Tuesday afternoon.

Fries, after having his rookie contract expire this offseason, has agreed to a monster five-year, $88 million deal with the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. That’s quite a raise from the $5.5 million he made over four years on his first deal.
