There are several more coaches on the hot seat and assuredly some more coaching turmoil within college football. A decision is not needed for several more weeks.
I don't think James Franklin helped himself by going on Game Day. And based on this year's performance, the Penn State program appears deeply troubled. Leaving behind a mess is not a legacy that supports future employment.
@tae-buetel yep, James Franklin brought in Jim Knowles knowing we didn’t have the players to run his defense just like bringing a QB in here that couldn’t run his offense. There’s always folks that think they can make it work and they’re usually wrong. The offense wasn’t working the last 2 years but the defense, #44 and #9 were good enough to bail the offense out when they were behind the center. Big fat fudge up by James Franklin. We got the talent still we just need a coach that hasn’t jumped off the deep end and knows what he wants to do on offense and we will be back in the top 5 or 10 pretty quick.
