Since my provider dropped BTN, I am taking the plunge and subscribing to BTN+ so I can watch the games on livestream computer.  Now I need to find a way to hook my laptop to my TV. Hmmmm.

FT: That crap is WAY above my pay grade.  If the game aint on TV, I listen to it on the radio.  There's a lot to be said for old-school.  Besides, I could listen to Jack Ham all day long.

@tsuga

If the TV announcers get on my nerves, i mute the TV, watch the video portion and listen to Jack Ham on the radio.  The radio broadcast is usually a few seconds later than what you see on the TV video, but I get used to it.

T102 has not announced a game last week.  With jack Ham. Last one announced was Maryland.

Tsuga, gotta say there is something about a radio game. I caught the 409 game on the radio as I was driving past the stadium coming home from a grouse hunt. Could see the light and feel the excitement even though I was on the road.

I am spoiled in North Alabama, our provider carries BTN.  There have been times I had to buy the game but that has not occurred for a while. I have been able to stream the games on my computer while OCONUS through our cable provider.  My back up was finding an audio webcast through Penn State student radio or gopsusports.  Worst case was the ESPN game tracker supplemented with the Nitsoftheroundtable (NOTRT) game chat. I also have an XM account.  I'll be away from the house this weekend watching a forestry mulcher knock down the woody and herbaceous overgrowth in a former pasture so I'll listen to the game on XM (ch 196).

Free BTN+ is part of the green new deal. Call Joe Biden’s office for the info.

@tsuga...Must be  a generation type thing, Tsuga, Im with you, TV or radio....and I very much enjoy a baseball game on radio.Whenever Im in car doing  a few errands, and PSU is on, and ND isnt due to start times, like last saturday, I turn on PSU   YES, Jack Ham is excellent..

Another PSU guy I enjoy, he was on TV saturday, ND-BC game is Todd Blackledge...He's good, fair, balanced, and objective  and  being a former QB, always has good insights into the QB play that day

Now if they would only get rid of that fake crowd noise so I can hear everything he's saying

@culture-thrives: You old fart.  That aint fake noise we're hearing its the ringing in our ears!!  I'm right with ya on Blackledge, He's one of the best.  I'm guessing you and I both grew up listening to radio shows??

We didnt have a TV until the mid-50's and as I recall, my parents didnt have a color TV until I came back from Nam.

I see what you did there.......  HEY, at our age brush is about all we can whack!!  Back in the day buddy, I used to be mighty handy in the bush.

And that reminds me of a joke:

These two old men were sitting by the woodstove at the corner grocery store when in walked young Jimmy Smith.  One old man said "Hey Jimmy, that new girlfriend of yours is a real humdinger" To which Jimmy replied, "Thanks, but I wish she was a real ding hummer"

I'll show myself to the door

@tsuga Speaking of age, not to brag(much), the other day I went into a room and remembered why I was there!

Ok, so I was in the bathroom, but still, I remembered!

(lol and I can't remember if I stole this from someone here or if I read it elsewhere)

@tsuga

yeah well, it took my wife 27 years to this day to finally ever apologize to me for anything.  After a minor argument, she said she was sorry....for ever marrying me!

Should I take the same door as you?
