Just had a conversation at the grocery checkout with a couple people about the GOAT in certain sports with some young kid claiming Brady is the greatest QB while the rest of us all claiming we’d take Montana over him any day of the week.

Who ya taking?

I'll vote w/ you on Montana. Kid isn't old enough to know who Joe even is.

@been-there-ii I’m old enough and it ain’t even debatable my brother…count the Super Bowl wins and all the records Brady has. Montana would be around 4th best he’s not as good as Manning or Rogers either. Of course I’ll agree he had Belichick but that’s just the way it goes that’s who drafted him 😁🇺🇸

Not sure I get this... you say "count the Super Bowl wins" but then state Montana (who has 3) is behind Manning (2) and Rodgers (1).

Try Jonny Unitas - not a lot of 2 yd passes and an era when breathing on a receiver was not a PI penalty

There's no question that Brady had the best career of any QB with all those Super Bowl appearances and championships, but if you're asking me who I want in a big game, Montana, no question. Four Super Bowls, four Super Bowl victories, and ZERO interceptions in 16 quarters of Super Bowl play. In Montana's era, QBs were as protected as today and he was far more mobile than Brady.

@roaminglion 7 vs 3 plus 3 losses that’s 10 SB’s for Brady little different than 3vs 2. Just my opinion on Roger’s being better so that’s is debatable. I believe the KC QB is as good as Montana but that’s just my opinion. Brady is the goat…..and so is Belichick 😂

7 vs 4 I believe Montana won 4 SB’s then Steve young stepped in and won one.

@southern-psu-fan Brady was a 6th round pick. So Im not sure draft rankings mean much when it comes to Evaluating QB talent.

I’m convinced Dale is a crack addict and a member of the LGQIPTLMNOP community with serious mental issues.

I wouldn’t put Southern at his level yet LMAO !

@psujoe Seems Dale is a bit too preoccupied to talk about football any more. Can't be good for his health, mental or physical.

This just in; new headlights are annoyingly bright, Trumps fault!

@been-there-ii

I took the bait and bought a pair of the night vision driving glasses that are hyped online as eliminating annoying headlight glare.  Much to my amazement, they actually work!

Nice! Unfortunately, they probably don't work over corrective lenses?

Another 10" of snow last night. 19 straight days or measurable snow. I'm ready for the 40's next week.

@been-there-ii   I believe they do work over regular eyeglasses - see picture below.  Anyway, I'm with you being fed up with the snow & ice.  I'm ready for a spring thaw!

See the smallest objects while driving at night
9/10 drivers recommend these night vision glasses

Just finished clearing the latest 3" of snow off the 2" of ice on the walkway leading up to our front entrance so I could put down some rock salt!  Yep, I'm ready for some temps above freezing!!

@southern-psu-fan I'm not a big 90 deg guy. I work outside, too much sweat in my eyes. Give me a sunny 70, no shirt, I'm ready to roll.

I can take the 90 deg temps as long as the humidity is low.  High humidity and "muggy" weather is what does me in.

@southern-psu-fan The huge difference between Brady and Montana,Bradshaw, Staubach etc is that terrific Tom played in an era when defenses weren’t allowed to be touched. No way in hell he lasts as long as he did if his career started in the 60’s 70’s or 80’s. Give Montana the same protections that Brady had and he most likely wins more than 4 SB’s.

Rodgers wouldn’t be in my top ten and maybe not even my top 15.

Last summer was brutal! Made me rethink my plan of living in FLA when I retire. A new plan of northern PA/ southern NY or even Montana/Wyoming may soon be in the works.
