Penn State’s Head Football Coach James Franklin took to the stage, this weekend, to address the enormous crowd inside the Bryce Jordan Center. His message was simple and powerful as he delivered a message for all to hear:
“Remember why we’re doing this. We’re doing this for the kids and to eliminate pediatric cancer.” – James Franklin
Franklin was there to help participate in THON the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. According to the organization’s website, THON is a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. Our mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness and ensure funding for critical research – all in pursuit of a cure.
You can also head on over to the THON website and watch the livestream of the event.
