I’m thinking we get some to flip our way when we get a new HC
This is interesting. Are the other schools that fired their coach this year having the same issues? If not, maybe Penn State was recruiting players who were more focused on their own self-interests than those recruited by the other schools. Or maybe the Penn State recruits believe that the promises made to them during recruitment will not be honored by the new staff. Maybe the loss of recruits is due to a combination of several factors. I don't think it is time to panic because there are many possible reasons and many possible outcomes.
I hope it's just another symptom of the negative influence of NIL and not more proof that James Franklin left behind a shit-show.
Yes they do...You have to understand that this was a double whammy...#1 they had a terrible season compared to the expectations...They were figuring on going to the B1G championship game and playing for a national title...Both fell flat...Then you fire the coach midseason...Lots of unanswered questions surrounding this program at the moment...You had to expect that the class Franklin recruited was going to disintegrate...The new coaching regime will bring in their players and things will stabilize...I don't think there is anything to worry about yet...Lets see who the new coach is and what he brings in...
