From what I can gather, NIL is in two parts, internal and external. Internal comes from the school and /or conference and the external comes from “donations “. I heard, not confined, that the B1G schools get $15-17M each, same for all schools. External comes from big donors, i.e., Nike, deli, big oil. So if PS wants to play with the big dogs, it will take much more money than they currently are getting. Not 100% sure of the internal money, but that’s best data I could find.

Bowdon,Meyer, the ole ball coach, Osborne, Dooley, bear, JJ and Switzer were all great coaches but they had to stay in the borderline gray area actually cheating to win…that’s just the truth when the goat didn’t.

@roaminglion some of the stuff y’all are talking about I have no clue but as far as the goat Joe Paterno winning the most game and playoff games and he did it the way he did making kids go to class and actually passing did put a Target on Penn States back because there was a lot of jealousy out there because they couldn’t do it and the media always tries to destroy anything good.

Conspiracy? Facts...Did Arizona fire their coach because of the sneaker situation? Yes...They were basically the only program that had any penalty placed on them...So why just penalize one school? I can tell ya why...They were the sacrificial lamb...The NCAA didn't have the balls to penalize the sacred cows...Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, UNC are marquee programs and they wouldn't dare ban those brands or penalize those brands because of the money they would lose and the pain they would cause the networks who pay billions to broadcast those brands...That is the reality...So I ain't buying the whole law and order bullshit...It's just like the 2 tiered justice system we have in this country...Jails are for the poor people...That ain't a conspiracy theory it is just the way it is...This ain't aliens, 9/11 or the Kennedy assassination we are discussing...This is something that is right in front of your face that you can see and track...

Talking about the acedemic scandal, where the students were essentially taking fake classes. NCAA ultimately had to give up because they had no authority over academics.

Also... Penn State is a huge money maker and they went after us hard. Explain that, other than some conspiracy that everyone just hates us for some reason.

My taste buds have changed too, I’ve pretty much lost my taste for beer altogether. Was an IPA fan for a long time which made me hate lite and lagers and now even IPA’s don’t do anything for me and always seem flat.
